Mood Kinetic
Identity System
Mood is a campaign that visualizes anxiety and depression
through the cognitive-behavioral therapy framework. Using the
authentic voices of people who experience anxiety and
depression, Mood contrasts the societal outlook of mental
disorders with the lived experience. This project informs its
audience and creates community among those suffering—they are
not alone.

The system allows for over 10,000 static logo variations representing the various emotions and experiences of those suffering from anxiety and depression. Here’s my attempt at math: 18 styles X 4 letters = 72 different letters X 60 frames per letter = 4,320 X 4 at least 4 combos? per letter = 17,280
Each Letterform is based off of a feeling, behavior, or thought referncing the Cognitive-behavioral therapy framework.

What if mental health wasn’t seen as a flaw we need hide? Many people suffering from anxiety hide how they feel, leading to a mask from society. Using augmented reality technology these objects and clothing conceptize anxiety and depression through visually expressing how it feels to wear your emotions.
