Emperical is a 101 page publication of articles, essays and interviews about experimental design process: creative coding, computation and scanner manipulation.

The book practices what it covers. Its typography and imagery were made with the same methods, hex edited, scanned in motion and pushed until they broke, so the reader sees mistakes as a source of new work rather than something to avoid.
